Job Description

Position Summary:

The HR Technology Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the HR technology systems and processes within our mining operations. This includes implementing, maintaining, and enhancing HR technology solutions, ensuring they align with the strategic goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR technology and experience in the mining industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HR Systems Management:

   – Oversee the day-to-day operations of HR technology systems.

   – Ensure the integrity and security of HR data.

   – Coordinate with IT and HR teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of HR systems.

2. Implementation and Optimization:

   – Lead the implementation of new HR technology solutions.

   – Continuously assess and improve existing systems and processes.

   – Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities for technology-driven enhancements.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

   – Generate and analyze HR data to support decision-making and strategic planning.

   – Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for HR metrics.

4. HR Process Improvement:

   – Streamline HR processes through automation and technological solutions.

   – Provide recommendations for process improvements based on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

5. Training and Support:

   – Conduct training sessions for HR staff and end-users to ensure optimal use of HR technology.

   – Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for HR technology issues.

6. Compliance and Security:

   – Ensure HR technology systems comply with applicable regulations and standards.

   – Implement data security measures to protect employee information.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.

– Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR technology roles, preferably within the mining industry.

– Strong knowledge of HR systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.

– Experience with system implementation and project management.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience in the mining or similar heavy industry.

– Certification in HR technology systems or related fields.
