Duties and responsibilities.
- manage projects from concept through completion by applying technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

- Identifying technical challenges and defining requirements for solutions
- Developing detailed blueprints, models or code to support project designs
- Building prototypes or early versions of products to test functionality
- Running performance tests under real-world conditions and refining designs as needed
- Creating project timelines, estimating costs and coordinating across teams to keep work on track
- Preparing technical reports, manuals and design specifications for all collaborators
- Applying industry standards, safety codes and regulatory requirements to all engineering work
- Design and Development Create new products, equipment, processes, or software using specialized technical tools and blueprints.
- Testing and Evaluation: run performance tests, analyse data, and troubleshoot issues to verify that designs function safely and efficiently.
- Project Management, estimate costs, set timelines, and manage project resources from concept to completion.
- Compliance and Safety ensure all work adheres to industry standards, legal regulations, and safety codes.
- Collaboration, Work with cross-functional teams, clients, and contractors to communicate technical findings and meet project goals
Skills Needed
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in specialized software relevant to engineering discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
