Job Overview

A reputable security company is looking for an Operations Manager.

This is a full-time role with guaranteed hours, although you may be required to manage operations which
are running 24×7. Thus, be available for emergencies outside of normal working hours as well. Flexible
working arrangements may also be available. You are responsible for the efficient and effective
functioning of the entire operational machinery of a Security Company.

Responsibilities of OPERATIONS MANAGER

▪ Oversee recruitment, orientation, and training of security personnel
▪ Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures
▪ Oversee the coordination of officers during emergency situations
▪ Effectively assign supervisory and guard duties to security personnel for quality delivery
▪ Prepare and present reports of incidents and implement ways to limit reoccurrence
▪ Record all incidents and evaluate them in order to recommend appropriate action
▪ Review, evaluate, and recommend changes to meet changes in customers’ security needs.
▪ Implement safety and health policies and procedures to protect personnel.
▪ Set up key controls on company equipment and facility to limit access to restricted property
▪ Liaise with public law enforcement agencies and fire department when necessary
▪ Oversee the planning and coordination of security operations across Zones and Areas.
▪ Establish security objectives and plans in support of G7’s corporate strategic directions.
▪ Build and maintain affect relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and employees.
▪ Apply knowledge on asset protection principle to plan and implement security solutions for Clients.
▪ Organizing and directing team work and coordinating such activities to a successful conclusion.
▪ Conduct investigations involving company personnel, assets, and proprietary information.
▪ Frequently engaging with Clients to receive feedback and to exchange information with all levels
of line, regional and corporate management, as well as external relationships.

Job Skills

1. Expertise in physical asset protection security systems and procedures
2. Strong English writing and speaking, for standard communications and incident reporting
3. Able to multi-task and prioritize different activities
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Demonstrate strong management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work in a client-focused role within a fast pace environment
7. Personal initiative in developing efficient work processes.
8. Ability to discipline/address any violation of company policy in a professional manner
9. Strong leadership demeanor and skills
10. High integrity and honesty

Qualification

1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 25 years work experience in a security-related field.
2. Prior practical work experience in a supervisory or management capacity is desired.
3. Law enforcement or military experience is preferred.
