Job Description

Job Summary:

A reputable company seeks a mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment. The role involves applying engineering principles and technical knowledge to ensure that systems operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working on mechanical design and project implementation.

Key Responsibilities

•             Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products according to project specifications and standards.

                •             Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) to prepare 2D/3D models and technical drawings.

                •             Conduct feasibility studies, calculations, and simulations to evaluate design performance.

                •             Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to meet design requirements.

                •             Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery.

                •             Perform tests, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.

                •             Collaborate with other departments (electrical, civil, production, procurement, etc.) on multidisciplinary projects.

                •             Ensure that all designs and processes adhere to industry codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

                •             Prepare project reports, technical documentation, and cost estimates.

                •             Recommend improvements to existing systems for higher efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

Qualifications and Requirements:

•             Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

                •             Experience: 2–5 years of relevant work experience (depending on role level).

                •             Technical Skills:

                •             Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB, etc.).

                •             Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, material science, and manufacturing processes.

                •             Understanding of mechanical standards and safety codes.

                •             Soft Skills:

                •             Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

                •             Strong teamwork and communication skills.

                •             Attention to detail and time management.

                •             Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
